Like why is Robert Redford there in New York trying to take possession of the tesseract from Thor when just minutes earlier Redford had ordered a nuclear strike over New York. Wouldn't he try to get as far away from the blast radius as possible? Just another example of bad writing in MCU movies. Because they needed him to escape so they could set up a Disney + show with loki and get more $$$ from gullable audiences. Who gives a damn about story structure right? Because if you are, you're basically proving yourself that you haven't seen The Avengers or Avengers: Endgame since Pierce is NOT the one who ordered a nuclear strike on New York.
