There are an estimated 400 billion birds living on 🌍. Anywhere from 40-60 birds for every living person. When was the last time you saw a dead bird? And don't tell me you see dead birds all the time. I leave my house every fucking day to go to work. I never see any dead birds. So where are they? Birds die just like everything else. So I ask you, where are all the dead birds? Where are they? "Birds of all sizes and species can become prey, and while cats, dogs, and other mammals such as foxes and raccoons are common bird predators, many unusual and unexpected predators also target birds - Aug 8, 2019" from "Strange Predators That Eat Birds - The Spruce" www.thespruce.com/strange-bird-predators-386775That you didn't think of this probably means you're a very nice person. Also, dying birds probably go to fresh water sources, like streams, creeks, rivers, so yeah, their journeys probably often end there, or your front doorstep if you have a cat who's a great mouser with no mice to kill (that happened when I was 3). I've never had a cat bring in a dead bird. Several live ones, though.
