Fair questions
I simply didn't want to self delete. I wanted to make a point of making him delete me. BTW notice that he's lied about why I was banned for 2 years now.
By troll, I mean the posters we all know here who actively try to be disruptive in a disingenuous way. I don't think that's a matter of perspective. I don't want to name them, but I'm pretty sure you have a few names running through your head already. Scab just openly admitted to editing posts. You shouldn't have to do that. Have some control. Show some authority.
My only take is that when you go to Knowhere, you don't see these kind of thing. When I got invited there, I realized the difference and it's just world's apart. I wish I could help this site get better honestly, but it's never going to when you have people like him who would rather make excuses than do anything about it. If you like the way it is though, then I guess Ive got no point.
Either way, I wanted to express that, and I won't really be hanging around this site.
Look at it from Scabab's pov, if I was a mod i'd get tired of constantly trying to moderate their behaviour, think edge of tomorrow but for really trivial reasons. Tired of seeking John's permission. Also to be fair, these trolls provide a lot of discussion topics so theres a reason for them to stick around. Additionally, Scabab cant always be around either and he doesnt get paid for this. At the end of the day, it's just a board, we're not making vaccines or getting rid of climate change

And I get that it’s not easy all the time, but we don’t have this problem in Knowhere so it’s not an impossible ask. a number us tried to express that this site had grown intolerable and his response was to blame us. Even now, he considers us the problem, instead of the obvious trolls. He doesn’t listen to or help those he’s supposed to be a mod for.
