Or he simply enjoys writing/playing music for its own sake. An even more radical thought! What demented human being would write/play music for fun?! Then why does he charge people to listen to him 'have fun'? Or does he do it for free these days? See above. If you can get paid for doing what you love it doesn't mean you aren't doing it for fun, and it certainly doesn't mean you're addicted to the limelight.
