Read my post above. It’s become apparent Heeey has been wasting time on topics like these by simply concocting experiences to support whatever inane statement she makes. The last time we had an exchange on the Beatles, she was a “bass player”.
I fucking despise this dynamic in people. The ego that won’t let them stick to topics they actually know.
FWIW, the "I wrote poetry in my teens/20s and got glowing reviews" wouldn't surprise me if it was true. Plenty of teens/20-somethings do that, and there are (or were) numerous vanity forums where amateurs would lavish praise on each other because they wanted praise too. I was a member of such a board ages ago, though mostly because it was also a good place to talk literature. However, there are also boards full of very serious writers who regularly submit stuff for publication and who will be brutally, viciously honest about whatever someone posts. 10:1 if Heeey did post her poetry to "glowing reviews" it was on one of those amateur vanity boards and NOT on one of the latter.
