Spanish actress Azucena Hernández has left us at the age of 59, on December 4.
A former Miss Catalonia who started acting in movies in 1978. In 1981 she starred in the horror film El Retorno del Hombre Lobo, directed by Paul Naschy. This film was exported to several countries under the titles The Craving and The Night of the Werewolf which gave Azucena fame abroad, popularity later revived through Internet forums.
Her media career was prematurely ended by a serious car accident in 1986, in which she suffered severe spinal cord injuries.
