I'd bet serious money that Brady's baby didn't die and is, in fact, Mackenzie. I bet it's actually Saric's baby who died and this is what Xander and Victor teamed up to do - switch the babies. Xander, to spare Sarah pain and so he doesn't lose his connection to her; Victor, to eliminate Brady being eternally connected to Kristen.
