I'd bet serious money that Brady's baby didn't die and is, in fact, Mackenzie. I bet it's actually Saric's baby who died and this is what Xander and Victor teamed up to do - switch the babies. Xander, to spare Sarah pain and so he doesn't lose his connection to her; Victor, to eliminate Brady being eternally connected to Kristen.
Victor and Xander are actually, somehow, responsible for Adrienne's death. Maybe not intentionally.
Don't forget
part of the blackmail during the kidnapping was Xander being accused of being responsible for an innocent man being in jail; the misdirection being the assumption it's Ben - so it'll turn out to be Will who is in jail because of what Xander did; which will be how Will gets out of jail and allow for Will and Sonny to reunite, while fueling the mystery of who really killed Jordan.
