Machines do most of the surgeries these days. It's not that complicated anymore. Heart surgeons have it harder. REALLY?!? DO THEY?!?! I DOUBT THAT AS a brain surgery mistake CAN cause someone to LOSE their memory, make them a VEGETABLE or other things FAR WORSE than heart surgery CAN. yes. That’s why they use robots who don’t make those mistakes for a lot of the procedures. Before robots? Sure. Also some of the “mistakes” are recoverable from and some of those surgeries you keep the patient awake to talk to you to ensure you are not cutting in the wrong place and from what I hear that’s quite helpful. After heart Spinal surgery are perhaps the trickiest. I hear from my doctor friends, including the brain surgeon (who also does the spinal ones). This is not to say these jobs are not demanding. Certainly are. Or there isn’t a lot of pressure. There certainly is. And Sure the risks are higher than for actors. Life’s vs bad reviews is of course incomparable. Butt the success odds at becoming a working surgeon vs working actor are really Really in favor of surgeons.
