I have so much admiration for actors. It looks so effortless when it’s done right but there is so much the person needs to invest in it. I honestly don’t know how they manage, especially doing dramas or emotionally very charged roles. The last three days I was watching someone perform such a vulnerable role, that I honestly don’t know how they go home and go to sleep without taking some pills or downing a few shots, after bringing such raw emotions onto the set, including real tears and all. I don’t know what exactly it is that drives someone to do this for a living I know I wouldn’t be able to do it but have the utmost admiration for those that do. If you had the talent and the option do you think you would choose to be an actor for a living? Never in a million years. I have too much anxiety and I don't see how they can memorize all that dialogue My sentiments, but they do. When I watch Jaws, I pay special attention to Robert Shaw's eyes, when he gives his long monologue in the Orca about his WWII experiences with sharks. I want to see if his eyes are betraying and he is actually reading his dialog as he is speaking. I just see him within and focused. I guess they just have a high memory capacity and IQ's off the charts.
