WHERE ARE ALL THE DEAD BIRDS?

Only time I have seen dead birds was one stuck in the grate of a car--another was a dead crow lying on a road-and a dead seagull someone found on the street and brought into a classroom.

But it IS an excellent question because do the cats and raccoons eat all the feathers?
There should be tons of dead bird feathers lying or floating around.
