Actually they kinda do. They bend physics and reality all the time of course, but modern superhero movies do take pains to try and come up with semi-plausible rationales for how they can do what they do. They don't usually start doing things with zero explanation behind it.

Just think of it like Cap's shield. It looks awesome, but the closest we ever got to an explanation for it was Spider-Man pointing out that it made no sense.
