The theme for Halloween came up in the The Simpsons a couple of times.

Speaking of horror:

Back when I was working music retail, I was trying to come up with a couple of soundtracks that would appeal to the masses.

So, I came up with The Faculty and Idle Hands.

(I know Idle Hands is a comedy/horror.)

The Faculty soundtrack had all the good groups, such as Creed, Soul Asylum, garbage, Stabbing Westward and the like.

Idle Hands The Offspring, Blink 182, Static-X....

Turns out...I was probably the only one that both of those soundtracks appealed to.  I don't think I sold either one.
