Vikings 6x03 Promo "Ghosts, Gods and Running Dogs" (HD) Season 6 Episode 3 Promo
Oh terrific, Ivar has a 'friend' now (I'm sure slash-fic writers will turn it into much more than that) who likes having people's arms torn out of their sockets (without the aid of a Wookiee). They're the perfect match. I'm sure we were supposed to enjoy their 'fun' flying scene together, but I just want Ivar dead (preferably by Lagertha's hand, but anyone offing him would be just fine).
Yay! No pointless Flokiland scenes!
It was somewhat interesting to see Bjorn deciding what sort of king he wanted to be, but I'm fairly certain him letting those guys go will come back to bite him in the arse. I just hope Lagertha's able to handle them if/when they try to ruin her 'retirement'.
Speaking of, that was probably the best moment of the episode, for me - the scene of her burying her sword as we got flashbacks to early seasons Lagertha, Ragnar and their kids (back when the show was at the top it's game). Of course, it looks like her retiring in peace will be short-lived, given that^ preview for episode 3 (though I haven't seen episode 2 yet).
As usual, I'll be worrying about Lagertha every episode until she eventually reaches her end. Here's hoping she lasts as long as possible this season (if for no other reason than pissing off the Lagertha haters
).I'm still enjoying the fact that Katheryn Winnick is the show's 'lead'/first name listed in the opening credits (though it doesn't seem like they've changed them at all).
Despite all my grumblings about the show, it's good to have Vikings back on TV again.
Yes, the scene with Lagertha burying her sword as we got some flashbacks from earlier seasons was my favourite moment of the episode too. I must admit I even teared up slightly. Ah, the good old times.
I want Ivar dead, too, but I think I want Ivar's new friend Oleg even more dead. Heheh, yeah, the only fun thing about the flying scene would have been if the balloon crashed into the ground and crushed both Ivar and Oleg.
