I pretty much agree with everyone that the MCU should end with Galactus's defeat. You can't get any bigger than his character. Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet basically is bigger than Galactus. He tried to wipe out the entire universe in Endgame. I disagree. Galactus is way more powerful than Thanos. He can consume entire planets. Thanos, for the most part, wanted to preserve the universe by wiping half of all sentient life. Fans have noted that if you split Earth's population in half, it would likely rebound in full in about 50 years. Once Galactus consumes a planet, it's gone forever.
