Modern graphics look better than grainy FMV from the early 90s. Nope, creepy "Polar Express" looking characters with expressionless faces and jerky movements don't look as good as flesh and blood actors. Only anti humanists would prefer that. While I agree somewhat with your first point, especially with certain games like Horizon Zero Dawn which look incredible until you watch the performances, technology has got to a point where facial animation in games is as good as movies now and it's only getting better thanks to performance and facial capture technology. Not that all games need this, especially ones which have more stylised graphics that don't require a realistic look at all. The second point about jerky animations is strange. Are you saying newer games have jerkier animation than the videos you provided? If anything they have some of the jerkiest movement I've ever seen in video games. Again, new technology such as motion capture and key-frame animation has sorted this problem out.
