I'm not sure what you meant but I live in a state where grown men dress up in Confederate uniforms and march in parades carrying the traitor flag. They are part of an organization that spends millions (hard to believe but true) of dollars trying to whitewash the Civil War, claiming it wasn't about slavery, the North was the aggressor, and the traitor flag is cultural heritage. My point, if it wasn't obvious, is that the motivations of the Confederacy do not excuse their actions. If I misunderstood your comment, perhaps you can understand why given where I live.
