Seems like "two people on a road trip killing people" was his go-to plot in the 90s for anything he wasn't passionate enough to direct. I'd probably take it over an illuminati incest cult, yeah. And given he's friends with Rob Zombie...I won't hold his praise for the Halloween remake against him. I don't know that they're 'friends.' I think they just both worked at Miramax and Rob Zombie was invited to make something for Grindhouse. Ha, good point on the murder road trip. That may not have worked, but frankly may have made more sense considering where 5 left off, and as much as it sounds silly, that at least suggests an attempt to deal with this thing they set up rather than just completely ignore it like they eventually did. Yeah, I just figured they were friends because of Grindhouse as QT is obviously friends with the other directors. Either way, given his clear idolization of Manson, I wonder what RZ thought of the ending of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...
