Do they also explain why Europeans are superior to every other people on earth? Look for a podcast titled "Context" by Brad Harris for a discussion if you want a serious answer, or at least educated opinions from historians, scientists, and economists. I suggest starting with the first podcast and listening to all of them because they are structured so each builds on ideas of the previous. The fundamental idea is that Europeans valued the individual over a god king. It started with the Greeks. Every other people on earth felt the lives of the average man were unimportant and only the ruling elite's lives had value. They looked at the society and community as a whole, and it's representative was a king who was usually also a god. For example, the Chinese invented gear technology. They used it to make a mechanical singing canary for the emperor. It went no further than that. Yet when the Europeans discovered gears a technological revolution began with products to improve the lives of everyone. * And thanks for the Brad Harris suggestion.
