At my local small town cinema when I was a teen they used to have James Bond Week often, with an other movie every day, occasionally they had an Alastair MacLean week with Navarone, Eagles Dare, Ice Station Zebra, Eight Bells and what not, though never The Satan Bug or The Secret Ways, but they did show Fear is the Key 1972 on some occasions, and never did I know that that guy would soon win an Oscar: Ben just behind Barry Jackson
There's been some entertaining movies based on stories by Alistair MacLean. I just wish Steve Carver had secured a better budget to realise 'River Of Death' (1989) which could have simultaneously served as a platform for Michael Dudikoff to become the next A-list action titan.
Nice screen shot of Ben Kingsley. It's funny how he made just one theatrical feature in the 1970s, only to emerge 10 years later and claim an Oscar for 'Gandhi'.
Here, in Peter Brook's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' ...
