I think you are wrong. The Saints are currently the #3 seed.

If both Green Bay and Seattle keep winning, it doesn't matter what New Orleans or San Francisco do. Seattle will be #1, Green Bay will be #2, New Orleans will be #3, Dallas will be #4, San Francisco will be #5 and Minnesota will be #6.
