Remember him being the lead in a period comedy-caper named The Southern Star (1969). Kind of a oddball pastiche of cliffhanger adventures and safari flicks, he played the soldier-of-fortune part opposite female lead Ursula Andress. Oh and Orson Welles played the villain.
