I don't have anyone in my family that ever had drug problems or problems with the law, but one of my biggest fears is that my beloved niece or nephew would get involved with drugs and become addicted. It can happen to anyone unfortunately.
Other than him, I have a cousin whom I haven't seen since he was a child who supposedly grew up to be a no-gooder. I haven't heard about him being addicted or having had run-ins with the law, but it wouldn't surprise me if that were the case.
