kevinI see. but much of what I have seen is ultimately forgettable (about 8 out of 10 of those nearly 700 movies). so you don't exactly need to be anywhere near what I have seen to give yourself a pretty good indication of your favorites in the decade. still, it can't lower your chances of finding quality movies by seeing more movies as far as your 'probably isn't 100% exact'... I see. so your list order is somewhat of a guesstimate and things could fluctuate a fair amount from how they are listed but that something you listed on the higher side of the list is generally going to be more enjoyable for you than something on the lower side of the list, correct? ; that's why I tend to order things the way I did as it makes it clear that why many movies I listed there are about tied, some I can say I like more than others which is why I got them separated by score. like my Top 2 movies are my Top 2 and things start scaling back from there. p.s. I use Letterboxd to for keeping track of basic list type of stuff (along with some text files on my computer) as it's better than IMDb in that regard. but I still use IMDb for keeping track of the basics like how many movies I have seen and for scoring movies etc.
