You really think so? I'm not a football fan, and I don't follow the CFL, but it's true it's been a big issue in local circles lately. I listen to the radio some mornings (especially while I've been off work) and it's a common topic (maybe the most common or consistent). Even though I don't follow the CFL, I'd love to see a team here. Might even be the thing that gets me into the sport. I'm just not sure they'll get a stadium. I don't think any other place in the Maritimes, or even Atlantic Provinces, could support a team right now, other than Halifax. Well, the league surely wants to get it right the first time... not just planting a flag. Unfortunately, the league has bigger fish to concern, namely the Montreal Alouettes & BC Lions ownership situations... though word is they're slowly on track. So the vote was in favour of building a stadium, but the area they wanted to build it was rejected. The wait continues.
