I keep expecting the sequels to bomb but I have been wrong before. I'm sure its a possibility with this one, but fairly low. The Mummy is likely to break out or atleast look so when comparing it to its small blockbuster budget. Then WW will be in week 3, and if it opens big there is another movie to "possibly hurt it" then we have Despicable Me 3 and Spider-Man coming out after Transformers; The Last Knight's release. My prediction: 75M OW 170M Domestic 750M Foreign 920M WW - pretty sure it's gonna miss the billion dollar mark. EDIT: And what is sad is this Transformers looks to be the best one since the first..............IMO. |
