I actually have read interviews with the band where they mentioned Lucille Ball coming from Jamestown. They found that to be pretty cool.
Ball referred to Jamestown in I love Lucy. Lucy couldn't get her birth certificate because she was born in West Jamestown not Jamestown.
Celoron put up a statue to Lucille Ball that got some notoriety
"Scary Lucy". They got another one
Right, that's one of the worst statues in history. Even here in the U K, it became a gag answer on panel shows it was so widely ridiculed.
