While never really known as a singer, she did support herself with gigs at small New York clubs while studying acting in the '60s, and was in the original B'way cast of HAIR. She can be heard on the OBC album as the soloist in the song Black Boys (pictured at center below). Two months into the show's run, she took over the role of Sheila (Easy To Be Hard, Good Morning Starshine) from Lynn Kellogg.
