The brilliant comic actor Victor Lanoux has died at the age of 80. Lanoux worked with many fine filmmakers during his career and is notable for collaborations with French comedy kings Gerard Oury, Jean-Pierre Mocky, Yves Robert, Philippe De Broca, Jean-Charles Tacchella and Gerard Pires. American comedy mistress Amy Heckerling described Lanoux as one-of-a-kind.
Daliah Lavi has passed away at the of 74. Lavi delivered iconic performances in two of Italian cinema's eternal gothic milestones - Brunello Rondi's 'The Demon' (1963) and Mario Bava's 'The Whip And The Body' (1963) - cementing her a warm place within the history of horror forever to come. Her film career took her all over the European continent where she worked as a successful model and all-ticket singer too.
Swiss actor Lukas Ammann had died at the grand old age of 104 years. He was a bona fide star of the tv set who also appeared in some fine films including Tonino Valerii's stylish western 'Day Of Anger' (1967).
