Critics also go soft on certain political aspects (cf Star Wars): eg last Transformer was in the soaring upper 90% bc it changed the lead (and main villain) to a capable pretty girl, who has a romance with a black bumbling male and the Bay-ian clobber porn is replaced by teen angst and sentimentality etc.
Also, if critics only care about political correctness, how come Black Christmas is getting pretty lame reviews overall?
Finally, that whole 30% thing sounds like it's coming from someone who thinks that The Emoji Movie is a masterpiece because by this kind of logic that could cause someone's brain to bleed, Toy Story should've gotten 70% on RottenTomatoes and Wreck-It Ralph should've gotten a similar Tomatometer as Man of Steel - which is ludicrous since just about everyone will say that BOTH Toy Story and Wreck-It Ralph are far better than Man of Steel will ever be.

tip for life: do not call things retarded when your arguments are as fallacious as they are stupid.
Bumblebee was praised because it wasn't a clunky mess like some of the Transformers sequels were
Btw "Etc" (Latin: et cetera) means that there are additional reasons (ie demonstrative, not exhaustive list), including the one you named. Learn what language means before you melt down and write.
and this is coming from someone who didn't hate those films.
