That's funny because I started to get bored after Saw IV. The puzzle just gets needlessly convoluted and repetitive. The original is worth watching and that is the only one that is worth watching imo. I’m usually in the minority in regards to the Saw franchise. I actually kinda disliked the first one a lot initially. Preferred the second but the series lost me completely at 3. I picked it back up years later and loved Matt Hoffman’s character arc a ton. He does have a good arc from what I remember, but he is stuck in a repetitive convoluted story. I mean all the stuff with Jigsaw and his games just is so been there done that by the 4th movie. The first 3 are just entertaining silliness, but when it starts taking itself more seriously it becomes very dull and after you have seen 10 torture devises and similar set ups in 3 movies already, I lose interest very fast. Same thing goes for the Friday the 13th franchise. Jason stalks and kills teens. After the 4th movie it just becomes really boring. Not to mention they all have the same ugly visual look to them.
