Lol, I looked at sci-fi book series and saw 'Perry Rhodan', BUT just couldn't tell IF that was it...OR not.

From what I understand, fans of the Perry Rhodan books didn't like the movie. If they had it's reasonable to assume there would have been sequels.

Clue #2 was going to be that the star of the movie was a regular in a 1950's TV series that had similarities to a 1970's TV series called Emergency.
