Sports stars raising money for Australian fires

That's very nice, and I commend them for raising money, but I always wondered about promotions like that. If, somehow, there were only like 2 aces hit all month would they really only donate 200 bucks? It's a good way to drum up interest in their sport all while supporting a good cause, but couldn't they just donate money no matter how many aces are hit?
