If Sanu was such a "weapon", he would have ranked higher on the Patriots productivity list when compared to the other receivers. He didn't, so he wasn't. Maybe he'll become the weapon we all hoped for next year.

The Patriots lackluster offense this year was clearly a combination of a lack of weapons and Brady's age creeping up on him.

Keeping the current crop of weapons and replacing Brady is a recipe for a 9-7 season.
If the Pats want to return to the big show next year, the best bet is to keep Brady and load up the offense. After all, he is just two season removed from league MVP, the current reigning world champ, and he still has the drive to win!
