The MCU did the Oscar nomination thing last year, garnering the first best picture Oscar nomination for a superhero movie. That is what the cinema history books will say. Forever. I'm still waiting for the 2nd superhero movie to get a best picture nod. It's been a bad decade for you. 1st, Shady Brady and the Pats go one-and-done in the playoffs again. Then Doctor Strange 2 loses its Director and Hawkeye gets delayed. Now Joke nabs 11 Oscar nominations, most ever for a CBM, and becomes the 1st CBM to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar solely based on merit and not on using the race card. The decade is still young, cupcake! The Patriots have only gone 1&done once this decade, ace. Which is certainly better than missing the playoffs altogether, eh, Dallas Cowboys fan? I have absolutely no doubt the Dr. Strange 2 and Hawkeye movies will straighten themselves out in short order and kick the ass of any DC superhero movie they might be up against. Joker isn't a superhero movie. There are no superheroes in Joker. You can discuss Joker with anyone who cares on the comic book forum ... wherever that may be.
