Thanks for mentioning this series , Nora . I haven't seen it or heard of it , but I always enjoy a good spy thriller . I've heard Fauda is a very good Israeli/Arab spy thriller as well . I've been watching some interesting series and movies recently -
Bodyguard - not entirely realistic , but the tension , direction and acting elevate it above a procedural . British dialects make it difficult for a non-Brit to understand though .
Spies of Warsaw - involving true story about spies in Poland , just before the German Invasion in 1939 . David Tenant is a great lead in this , with other good actors too .
Das Boot - edgy spy thriller set during WWII , involving a very tense cat and mouse game among the German military and the French Resistance and Underground . Full of surprises and shocks .
Worricker is a trilogy (this is the first movie) . About a British spy commander who falls out of favor after discovering a serious conspiracy amongst the security cabinet , and causing him to disappear . With Bill Nighy and other good actors , the series is slow , detailed and realistic .
Berlin Station - Definitely one of the very best modern spy thrillers . Very realistic and edgy with a shock ending . Not to be watched at all by novices of the spy genre . You need to at least have watched Bodyguard or similar spy series before this . It is a complex scenario show for which it worked hard for a deserved 10/10 .
