To the trolls out there (no one in particular and maybe you don't consider yourself a troll, but frequently accused of it), you don't have to answer if you don't want to just wondering, do you take punishments from site creators, mods, etc as notches on your belt? As a win? I remember Joby Dimms from IMDB Prime saying something similar. That each ban, him circumventing, and coming back as proof that he was winning. Do you feel the same? That each temp ban, locked thread, or deleted post as proof you are right and the establishment is wrong. Or maybe it's more of a game that each punishment is a point in your favor? Or do you honestly have no concept that a punishment will come from your post. Or do you not care?
This thread maybe inappropriate and if it is feel free to lock or delete it scabab and Hauntedknight87. I've was always fascinated with the concept of willfully going against what a comment board is for (or any platform that potentially could have misuse) . We all slip up, but I'm fascinated by the people who do it constantly. This will probably be deleted and that's a little ironic. It's just alien to me and I would love an answer to it. I've studied negative attention seeking in psychology, but that's just theoretical reading not hands on observation or discussing with the person doing it.
I would love this to not devolve into a screaming match between people calling each other trolls and denying it, but little hope for that. I guess I'm an optimist. So if this post sticks try listening to the better angels of your nature.
