Dunno why they felt the need to change, especially when theyre still in that 'gaining a foothold' stage as a franchise and have made the playoffs the past few years. But i haven't followed their organization much outside that first season.
It does seem like NHL teams push the panic button quicker than you see in other sports.
I don't claim to be an expert on the Golden Knights, but I agree that you would think with a new organization, you would want stability for awhile, especially when you consider how much success they have already had with this head coach.
