In all fairness to Norwegians, most of them reacted negatively to that suggestion to pee in the shower. Many of them said it was positively disgusting to even suggest such a thing.
But they do it anyway. Hypocritical faux outrage is just insecurity with many and want to project an image of how morally aligned and wonderful they are.
