So because they had no control they should just ignore that by their universes being combined in resulted in the termination of previous versions of billions of people including children, infants, human and otherwise and just go about their day and be jolly? When World War II ended, do you think none of the Allies soldiers celebrated or were jolly that the war was over and they had survived the war? Do you think that no one went on with their lives? They had survived a Crisis that destroyed the multiverse. It's natural to celebrate the end of a crisis like that. And when a crisis or war ends, people move on with their lives. They don't mope around and get drunk every day and just become fat like Thor did. Steve didn't erase Peggy's children out of existence, he went back in time and settled down with her and started a family And when Steve went back in time to settle down with Peggy Carter and start a family with Peggy Carter, he took Peggy Carter away from the man she was supposed to marry and thus permanently erased their children from history forever. there is no evidence to say he was never not her husband in the continuity of the MCU Except for the fact that Steve Rogers was frozen in ice in 1945 and woke up in 2011. So clearly Steve Rogers was never Peggy Carter's husband or the father of her children in MCU. There could exist 2 Steve Rogers in the same timeline, like Endgame shows 2012 Cap fighting 2023 Cap. Likewise, 2023 Cap went back in time and married Peggy and raised a family with her, while 2011 Cap is still frozen in ice.
