Out of curiosity, do you watch college football? If you're going to suggest it's an inferior product to the NFL, I agree. But the big time programs still have enough talent (and enough history) to make the games compelling. Second rate pro football teams don't have enough talented players together on one roster to ever make the game fun to watch. I watched a few XFL games. I watched a few of whatever that league was that folded last year. It wasn't fun. That was the suggestion, but not a criticism. Some people actually prefer college football, which holds little interest to me, but that's their thing. But I think some people like it because it's inferior. In the same way that some people prefer college basketball. You can succeed on effort and willpower at that level when you can't do that at the pro level when everyone has a superior skill set. I enjoyed the gameplay, sometimes and to a degree, of the XFL the first time around. Mostly just because it was football during the off season. Most of those guys were college football players, so I don't think the level of play was drastically different... But the question was just whether or not college football was also not interesting to you since it was at a lower level.. which I would understand.
