You can pick up to 5. The five with the most votes by due date will advance with others for the final 50. In the event of ties that create a tie that brings 6th place or less in a tie for 4th or 5th, then none of those tying will be advanced. If they tie for 3rd, then I'll hold a quick run off in this thread for advancement into the next phase. This is ICONIC movies, not necessarily good ones. Movies with iconic scenes, iconic lines, iconic heroes, and so forth. That in itself makes more than the 500 movies, so some movies are omitted. However, the most iconic are included into 10 groups that present an ideal cross section. This thread is the musical one. Some of these are musicals, but many are just movies with iconic musical scenes. Some are most famous for songs or scores, such as Dr. Zhivago. is a musical? That was a tough call. In filling this thread, I included some with iconic songs. This song is considered iconic to some people.
