At least according to this article, this is most likely what it was. Although, two teammates ( Lito Sheppard & Jon Ritchie) did openly admit that McNabb did puke during the game.

But again, no actual video footage of it happening. It seems as if this was started as a sports show thing in Philly and went on from there. Instead of saying he "choked" they would say he "puked".

It didn’t “start” on talk radio. There was a moment in the huddle during the 2 minute drill. He was standing up but bent forward slightly. The liquid that came out of his mouth was milky white in color. I remember it clear as day. So if they talked about it on the talk radio, it’s because others saw it as well. Don’t ask me to produce evidence, I don’t have it. But I saw what I saw.

I think it's really difficult to admit that a memory may be incorrect. I've experience this myself. I've gone back to watch movies or TV shows and things have been slightly different than I vividly remembered them being, and I would have sworn on my life that I saw it distinctly a different way. It's not uncommon, but it's clearly hard to accept.
