Well, in his good years Warner had talent around him few other QBs have enjoyed. His stats at his peak may have been better, but his career overall I dare say not. You’re the GM of a team. You have to pick one of these QBs to run your offense - prime Eli or prime Warner. Who do you pick? If your answer is Eli, enjoy your 8-8, 9-7 season. Or ya know, 11-5 or 12-4. You could definitely argue Warner is better and I might agree, but you can't argue that he didn't have much better talent around him. Maybe he could have gone 12 and 4 with Eli's '08 team, but he never had to.
