Well, in his good years Warner had talent around him few other QBs have enjoyed. His stats at his peak may have been better, but his career overall I dare say not. You’re the GM of a team. You have to pick one of these QBs to run your offense - prime Eli or prime Warner. Who do you pick? If your answer is Eli, enjoy your 8-8, 9-7 season. I get your point, and 1 season would be Warner. But you're moving the goal posts here, because we're talking about the hall of fame, and you don't make the HoF based on 1 year. I'll stand by the statement that if Kurt Warner and his 1 SB win, 2 SB loses,9-4 postseason record, 4.7 good seasons, and 4 full NFL seasons over his career can get in, Eli and his 2 SB wins, 2 SB MVPs, 8-4 postseason record, a debatable amount of good seasons, and 14 full NFL seasons is a lock. But honestly, if I had to pick between the two, I'd pick neither and run the wildcat.
