I wonder, does this also mean that all Australians will develop darker skin in the future or that the offspring of all those African refugees coming to Europe will have lighter skin thousands of years from now? Probably not, because sunscreen, medicine, and clothing means the sun's rays have little effect on people until they are past childbearing age. I expect greater mobility of people combined with instant communication will result in a more physically and culturally homogeneous society. |
