Yeah not really the best analogy because a crying baby or a cough is actively making a noise. It's much harder to ignore. On a message board that actively has an ignore feature it's not so hard to ignore. When I say the people that reply to him it's really only a couple posters but it seems like it's a drug for them to just reply to him everytime as it creates the snowball effect. I'm of the belief that if he was just ignored than he wouldnt have kept going. So yeah, I was annoyed by the ones that kept feeding him. He was getting out of hand though. A crying baby in a theater is annoying. People following that baby into other theaters just to say “you suck, baby! Hey, baby, remember when you cried in that other theater? Listen up everyone! Watch out because this a crying baby and he’ll cry!” is just as annoying. Several times over the course of the season people would post in the pick em threads (not even pick em players, by the way) just to point out a wrong prediction he made, which ended up almost derailing the thread. This is what I’m talking about. People are consumed by him and still, somehow, act like they’re morally superior. Or the time he tagged me out of nowhere in a pick 'em thread and made outlandish, unfounded lies about me? And then me, a non pick 'em player, responded. Would that make me the annoying one? So there are nats that are bothering someone. You see them swatting at the nats. The swatter is the nuisance? Even though they wouldn't be swatting had the annoying little nats not been doing what annoying little nats do? I'm starting to shift to the "never allow back" side of the conversation.
