You expect competent writing.
It's the laziest script writing I've ever seen. The most ham fisted, hammering in square pegs in round holes story beats possible. It's a chore to watch because it's constantly stupid. They have scenes so bad they have names. Lois constantly showing up just wherever they need her for no reason. Director after director quitting on them. It is embarrassing.
