I looked up a list of movies made in Chicago and there are a lot of them, so I will just list my favorites. 16 Candles Men Don't Leave (had no idea) Ordinary People The Fury Damien: Omen 2 Looking for Mr. Goodbar The Gore Gore Girls special mention to "Natural Born Killers", which I actually did not like much, but I was seeing this guy in the late 90s (he grew up in Chicago) and he told me the time he went to the well known "Berlin" nightclub and who should be there but Juliette Lewis, Woody Harrelson and Oliver Stone! I can't remember what he said about Woody, but he said that Oliver Stone was sitting at the bar, near passed out drunk and that Juliette Lewis was out on the dance floor, mixing with the crowd, dancing her head off and having the best time! He actually got to hang out with her that night and he said she was the most fun person. Ohhhh, my beating heart, please stop... Can I just say that I think that this is of such unbelievable coolness and I would have anticipated nothing less from Juliette Lewis, whom I adore to bits. Juliette Lewis is the real deal. I love Natural Born Killers Mr. Dirty. What is it you don't like about it? I know you like Harrelson and Lewis. Stone's brand of showmanship just doesn't appeal to me. And the gleeful nastiness was too much for me to take. I am not necessarily anti-self indulgence, but just don't like him much. I did like "Midnight Express" and I think Stone penned that one. But that movie rode out on Giorgio Moroder's score alone. I didn't like "Platoon", either. The only movie of his I half way liked was "The Hand". I would, however, like to see "Wall Street" and am thinking I would probably enjoy that one. Yes, I like Woody (cutie pie and aging nicely) and of course I love Juliette.
