I don’t know how much of this is true since the writer apparently didn’t watch season two based on their paragraph about what happened at the end of season two. Also the author of the book series is currently working on book 3 and 4, so I guess season 3 will be a combination of both.

I'm kinda surprised and not surprised. I'm surprised because it's supposedly one of Netflix's most watched shows, so I'm surprised they'd let it end after only 3 seasons. However, the series is based on 2 books (with a 3rd supposedly in production), so they've basically covered all the source material. As a fan of the series, I'd happily watch more than 3 seasons. But I also like the idea of doing a limited run and not dragging things out.
